Being centrally situated in one of Cornwall s most popular areas you will also be spoilt for choice with attractions to suit all tastes which include Flambards St Michael s Mount The Eden Project the sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lands End. The accommodation is accessed via 4 external steps from the parking space arranged over one level and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size with en-suite bathroom with shower attachment on bath separate shower and WC 1 zip-and-link twin (that can be made as a super-king upon request by prior arrangement with the owner) with en-suite shower room with WC. Lounge: with TV/DVD with Sky Sports package woodburner and French doors to garden. Kitchen/diner: with integrated appliances including electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: small enclosed garden with lawn patio area garden furniture and BBQ. Amenities: private off-road parking for 1 car or 2 smaller cars (further by arrangement). Helston is a market town in southern Cornwall, England. It is distinguished by being the most southerly town in England as well as the second oldest in Cornwall (after Marazion). It is located within a few miles of Sithney, Porthleven, Wendron, Breage, and Crowan and is one of over 250 towns or villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest city is the Cornish capital of Truro with the much larger port of Plymouth being further afield.
Located at the northern end of the Lizard Peninsula Helston used to be known for tin mining, but now tourism forms a large part of its income, given its location in the South West of Cornwall between Penzance and Falmouth, which makes it ideal for exploring this part of the country. The town has become known for its annual Furry Dance (also known as the Flora Dance), which is thought to have originated in medieval times.
